Hi, I'm Nicola, your Certified SYSTEMologist
Green Pillars Co is my third business and I’ve worked with over 50 businesses in these industries →
All the businesses I’ve worked with have had the following things in common:
- Very reliant on the business owner to function.
- Unable to grow further because of the reliance on the owner. “I can’t be at every job” is a common phrase.
- Teams have all the knowledge in their heads, leading to various degrees of chaos, mistakes, and changes in the way things should be done.
- A desire to grow, standardise operations, smooth out problems, and have a team that knows what to do without constant interruptions.
- The need for less stress, more holidays and time with the family.

FAQs?
Why is systemising important?
Systemising your business helps streamline operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Well-defined systems save time, reduce the need for micromanagement, and make it easier to delegate tasks. This leads to a more organised, productive, and scalable business.
How does systemsing benefit my team?
By providing clear, step-by-step processes for completing tasks. This reduces confusion and errors, allows team members to improve their skills, and creates opportunities for advancement within the organisation. It also makes onboarding new employees smoother and more efficient.
Will systemising my business improve customer satisfaction?
Absolutely! Systemising your business ensures that your customers receive consistent and high-quality service every time. By having standardised procedures, you can respond more quickly and effectively to customer needs, leading to higher satisfaction and loyalty.
Why is SYSTEMology such a breakthrough methodology?
It’s designed to keep things simple and prioritise effort in those areas that will make the biggest difference. It involves the team from the beginning, so they’re more likely to support what they’ve helped to create. It follows a very structured, proven process; its quite literally ‘the system for systemising.’
What impact does systemising have on business growth?
Systemising your business lays a solid foundation for growth. With well-documented systems, you can scale your operations without compromising on quality or efficiency. This makes it easier to expand your team, open new locations, or diversify your product or service offerings.
Who does Systems Mastery work for?
Typically for small businesses with a team of between 2 and 10 people. It’s especially beneficial for small businesses on the cusp of scaling to the next level, or where the team is there but the owner has significant involvement and all knowledge is stored in people’s heads.
How much time do I need to commit to Systems Mastery?
Remember systemising is an investment in the future of your business and the long-term benefits far outweigh the costs and time it takes. It pays off by making your business more robust and easier to manage. To complete Systems Mastery, you’ll need to allocate about 2 – 3 hours per week.
What is a Systems Champion and do I need one?
A Systems Champion is someone in your business who’s a logical thinker and can take responsibility for systemising. Usually, a PA, Trainee, Apprentice or Office Manager who’s keen to learn, detail orientated and well-organised. The Systems Champion takes the lead in documenting and maintaining business processes. This role is crucial for having success with systems.
Can I do it myself?
